WHY PLASTIC-LESS?

We live in a world of convenience. Plastic packaging is very convenient, both from the producer's and the consumer's point of view. It is also a very versatile material, but it is here to stay for the rest of our life and of many generations to come.

It seems absurd to me that packaging designed to be used once is made of an indestructible material that litters our earth and oceans causing harm to wildlife and ecosystems. Surely there is a better way to do things. In the last few years I have explored where I used the most plastic and progressively made swaps to change to a lifestyle with less plastic.

Granted, it is very hard to give it up all together; however, there are many swaps that can be made and habits that can be changed to reduce the amount of plastic that enters your home. I have started this website to show people what my journey was like and share all the useful information I have gathered along the way. I hope you find it useful.

As it is a work in progress, and my first attempt at running a website I welcome your feedback. Use the Contact tab to send me a message.

I often reuse metal tins from coffee beans to shop at the zero waste store.
